The Ship


Sold for Scrap 1921


HMS Caesar Majestic Class. She served in the Mediterranean, the Channel Fleet (where she was a flagship) and Atlantic and North American stations during World War I. After the war, she served in the Mediterranean and Black Sea.

She was sold in 1921 and broken up in Germany the following year.

Armament: four 12 inch guns, twelve 6 inch guns, sixteen 12 pdr guns, twelve 3 pdr guns, 2 maxims, two 2pdr boat guns and five torpedo tubes. Displacement: 14,900 tons. Speed: 16.5 knots. Complement: 757.
