HMS Snapdragon, built by Ropner, launched 21/12/1915.

HMS Snapdragon, of the Arabis class fleet sweeping Sloops, entered service 21st December 1915. Captured U.68 and took crew prisoners including Donitz, after being disabled by gunfire of Sloop HMS SNAPDRAGON,18/1/1918.

Sold for breaking up at Newport,4/5/1934.

Postally used 22 May 1919.

The writer states : This is a photograph of the ship taken in Malta last year but only just been issued for public identification.
